Today’s Trucks

The design of the trucks today are moving beyond the standard views of either an SUV or a traditional truck. There are a number of crossover vehicles, and concerns about fuel costs also affect the market for trucks and SUVs.

Many transport companies have a number of models based on smaller platforms that these companies have ever offered. Even the classic Ford Explorer, which coined the term SUV in the first place, it can become a crossover in the not too distant future. A number of these vehicles are based platforms or from a model car chassis.

Let's start with a vehicle that is kept firmly in tradition, the Dodge Ram. The new half-ton truck is even more aggressive than previous models, whose profile seems to stick a finger as the other guys in the chest. The truck comes with a V-6, and may include the possibility of a new Hemi engine in a future date. The rear axle of the new Ram now has the coils instead of crossbows, which is a major change in the journey of this truck. In addition, Dodge has included in the cabin of storage for all their four-door models, plus storage integrated into the bed of the truck. This is a great new truck that can turn the head of some truck owners.

Current Bid Ford Explorer America is a little smaller than the current Explorer. That should be about 500 pounds lighter than the current model and will feature direct injection turbo charged V-6 that comes with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Can no longer see a V-8 option in the Explorer line in the near future. Ford is likely to choose a higher horsepower V-6 to replace the current top of the engine. These are major changes in the Ford Explorer and traditional is the hope that their customers are happy with the changes.

There is a new Land Rover, which is a smaller version of the Range Rover Sport. The traditional Land Rover has modified the design of a sports car as the windshield and a low roof line. This model is green friendly, in their leather seats are made with chemical-free metal, glass and inserts are made from recycled glass bottles. Land Rover sees it as his version of the Mini Cooper or Audi TT. This vehicle has lots of style and elegance.

Toyota has a new small truck offering, which can give new interest to both compact lackluster sales of trucks at the time. Is the A-BAT, with a unibody chassis, and removable storage boxes, and WiFi for the passengers. It has a wheelbase two inches longer than the Highlander, and it is almost as long as the RAV4. The profile of the van and is well worth a try.

Suzuki has a new range of mid-size trucks in the field, to be known as the Ecuador. It is based on the Nissan Frontier and will be built in Tennessee as of this year at the Nissan plant. These conclusions were based on Nissan trucks, Nissan style, the balance of the Suzuki range of vehicles from GM.
